You are welcome. Now I need to order the DeOxit S, for better protection after cleaning.

I just wish they sold the small bottles, and not just the aerosols.

DeOxit may seem absurdly expensive, but I am completely sold on it. My can has paid for itself several times over already hyeah: --- and there is heaps left.

I ordered a can ten days back from Grabmore. Got the Deoxit D5S delivered today.

Let me remind you of this usage/economy hint...

... from the spray, some liquid accumulates in the top part of the can. This is quite sufficient for dipping a screwdriver to apply to contacts, or a cotton bud for treating a larger area like a phono socket.

Since then, I've discovered that the head of a pin is great way of applying a small amount to a small area such as a contact point.

Hey, DeOxit is wonderful: it does everything! :lol:

But seriously: Does a bad contact in a switch create RFI? If so, then it might be a genuine claim that it reduces the creation (not absorption) of RFI by a device.

If this is the case, then Whoa-Hey-Away! My system now sounds better because I treated my mouse contacts. Deeper Blacks! And that's just in the audio hyeah:
