Hello all,

i've just picked up a Dual HS39 TT (very big mistake) with a dead 2X6W inbuilt solid state amp (siemens i heard). the thing smoked and blew a fuse the first time i fired it up. replaced fuse, but something still burnt inside the second time. i'm guessing its the transistors, so if i need to replace them, will i need to procure original siemens ones, or will it work fine with other substitutes? does transistor replacement affect sound quality?

thanks
