Defective AVR received from an online seller

Atleast you need to give it a fight. If there is no direct resolution, police citing the FIR will ask Vplak representative to come and meet at the the local police station and you need to keep the candle burning by making a visit to local police once every 2 weeks. After 2 visits by Vplak authorities, they will talk to you for settlement as each will need a good expenditure from there side also. Similarly in local consumer court they have to make legal representation which involves payment to lawyer and providing for travel and stay expenditure. So in all likelihood they will settle with you. For you atleast the amount they tried to cheat, they had to spend that and they couldn't pocket it directly.
Ok. Will file a complaint in local police station

Thats why you should only buy from authorised dealer of profx. Just to save some money customers buy from unauthorised. And in the end it gets very costly mistake. Unauthorised ones might look cheaper in the beginning but later you have to pay 2 x of original price of AVR. It takes one minute to mail them or call them directly but prices a bit on higher side which in turn becomes very costly mistake in the end. Many dealers have made this like a cartel they just dont know buy from where or repack the old item and polish it and use profx sticker on it. I dont know profx does nt take any legal action against it. Must file complain and raid all JUNK" dealer. Because of these sales of "AUTHORISED DEALERS" go down the drain. Please sue this vplak guy if you can good luck!
Also easy way to spot junk dealer is that if you ask them if warranty will be entertained from service centre they will just say WE WILL TAKE CARE OF IT OURSELF, this is the easiest way of spotting them. And never buy from online its blunder.
