Dehumidifier to protect my equipment

living in a coastal city, I found out the hard way about component pins, connectors and bare cable ends getting corroded away by salty air. I service , clean and lubricate everything pre an post monsoon.
Hair dryer is good against moisture, but the effects are temporary
