Denon 1612 and 1312 released in UK and US

Looks like upconverting to HDMI features is removed in 1612 (it was there in 1611 as per my knowledge).
Some enhanced Audyssey EQ features also included.
Quick select buttons are added.
1612 remote comes with preset codes

My friend was planning to buy 1611, is it worth to wait for 1612 arrive in India?

I think the price difference between the two will be high. Denon 1611 now sells for around 24K. When 1612 launches in India, the price will be above 30K in accordance with the previous price of 1611.

From where did you get the price for 1612?

1612 does not support hdmi upconversion while 1611 does.

Denon 3312 and 1612 are launched in India... These prices are from Profx .com Profx s website... They are available for audition at Mumbai and a few other places.. chek out the profx.com

surprisingly denon 3312 is also priced similar to 3311.

Denon released 1712 in US, not sure whether they will introduce it in Europe and India.

1712 is a 7.1 receiver, its like a slightly downgraded 1912, but the US price $50 more than 1612

1. Only MRP is more for 1611, but its selling for much less, as confirmed by one member.
2. USB port is a new addition in 1612, hence it would be useful for those who need to play digital content off a storage device (i.e. pen drive or portable hard disk).

Denon 1611 is available for around 25K. Being a new model 1612 won't be available at this price.

I Bought Denon AVR 1612 few days back on global Ebay at 21,250Rs Including Shipping and Handling..But not sure if its 220 or 110...

1612 does not support hdmi upconversion while 1611 does.

Got those from Profx. Its there on their web site also.

1611 is avail for 25k and 1612 is 30k. 12 series are avail in the market.
