Denon 1612 best price?

Hello guys

I visited a bunch of audio stores yesterday here at Hyderabad including vector,audio people and cinebels. Picked up the jamo 426 speaker package for a best price of 21k for a friend of mine.

We were looking to get the denon 1612. Vector quoted 29k and was offering 10% discount. After some hard negotiations, I managed to get it to 24k since we were potentially buying 2 units.

Is this a fair deal? Will be marrying this with the jamo 426 possibly.

I also wanted to know if I can look at any equavelant yamaha recievers in this price point?

24k for 1612 seems quite a deal, in pune you wont get this price for sure

You can try negotiating for 30k for the 571 model. I brought mine in Bangalore for 30k around january. It is an awesome receiver both for stereo and 5.1 movies.

is you are getting a denon 1912 for around 30k, then go for it, it has better audyssey multeq XT than 1612 which is very effective for all size rooms

networking features are amazing with 1912 with few more HDMIs , so it will be future proof a bit (no gadget is 100% future proof)

the only problem with yamaha is that they dont come with industry standard Audyssey but their some crap YAPO, which is absolutely not effective, otherwise its a good receiver too

also for music denon has 3 step restorers settings which is again more effective than yamaha

I dont think you can get 1912 for 30... that must be for Yam 571

Denon 1912 costs around 45k at PROFX with 10% discount. In Dubai it costs 32 to 34k but you have to pay duty. If U are not particular about airplay U can go for 1612.

45K for 1912 is a bit high try negotiating...and its not only airplay which is extra in 1912, there is an advanced version of audyssey as well multieq XT which makes quite a significant difference in SQ which is worth payin few extra bucks

One can get Denon 1912 from amazon.de for about 29k. No voltage conversion required. Many in this forum have already bought this.

It is a steal for INR 29k. They cost almost the same ( 550$ -> 28k ) in US. Also the de ones will work without a step down transformer in India.

In India they retail around 40k.

2313 cannot be shipped to India and 3312 costs 902 EUR including shipping.

Yes... i thought of saying the same... I am also planning to buy denon 1912, but today morning when I tried.. denon 1912 is not listing in amazon.de

when I try to book from amazon.de i am using google chrome, things are getting translated to english, but the address I gave changes from english to german..

for example:
in english: if I gave 12th A cross, 16th main btm second stage
in german: it is showing as 12th A second stage,....
