I am planning to move away from my Philips home theatre and buy the denon AVR 1910 with some book shelf speakers .

Please suggest me some good combination... And where can I get a good deal for those in bangalore.

Which Philips home theatre are you currently using ?

If you like crisp,warm sound,then F1.

Media Player - PlayonHD
Game console - PS3 (Yet to be connected)

Mostly I listen to classic rock music and watch lots and lots of sports.

I searched and called up the number on this link he said 35k for Denon 1910. Is it worth has anyone bought from this person ?

Hi friends ... spirovious .... how do you describe ;
" soft sound " and " crisp,warm sound "

Soft- You cant notice high frequencies easily.So overall sound can be dull without excitement.
Crisp is related to treble & sound can be enjoyable.Sparkling hi frequencies.
Warm has more than one definition.What I mean is vocals are gr8 & appealing without being harsh.
