DIY 2 Way for HT \ Music

Dear All,

I wish to build a DIY 2 way speaker.

Prefer to use them for Front Left&Right speakers for Harman Kardon AVR

Wish to have natural sound with essential bass,
Found this Dayton Amiga diy with in my budget.

Please share your suggestion and ideas for other diy kits and raw driver

It shouldn't be earth shattering bass kind of SPL output.

Peerless and Dayton are the affordable drivers..

Very good design and BOM looks nice you will get all parts from India including inductors check our fm bibin have Dayton drivers

Since its a two way design zoo most of midranges (apart from the low end) will also come from the woofer alone. A rear end will help a lot. A front end will muddle the mid range part.

If you are going for it, please keep us updated.

My initial projects were all two way bass reflex systems and they sounded just great, using Alinco philips woofers and tweeters with real large magnets.

I dont think so many hi end speakers are using front end port that will not do anything with midrange that will help to keep the speaker somewhat close to walls.It will depend on the cabinet construction.For small room always better front port design
