hello everyone, i am newcomer ,

planing to build integrated amp .some parts already @ my hand like 22-0-22 5A toroidal transformer, cabinet etc...
Anyone willing to sale these items or completed one
mainly my needs are amplifier kits with 50W to 150W., B/T ,power supply,

sorry for my poor language

I currently employ a gainclone based on lm3886. design is not reference, I have posted a thread here also, that employs a 5a 20-0-20 tranny, the power out is very good.
It is also within chip limts.

Sir, I guess that 22-0-22 5A means 44V,5A with center tapped. so max 220VA.

Yup, that's fine for a 2-channel LM3886 gainclone or similar, which is Class-AB and rated at 68W per channel, max. With a 22-0-22 trafo (+/- 30V rails), the LM3886 may be capable of ~40W maximum per channel, so 220 VA is ample.

Thanks, I stand corrected again. I've used a 160VA toroidal from Miracle for my LM 3875, and it works very well, so yes 1100VA looked overkill!!

Dude GP_freak do not buy those DIY kits from ebay. its over priced. which place are you from? In Bangalore you can visit SP road, Pooja Electronics for good amp boards or
if you are in Chennai you can visit Ritchie street.

Hello Abhinav,
I have few kits with me which I bought as part of my hobby/experimenting. Also got unused kits. PM me for details/pics

I am from Chennai. Its actually semi assembled kits. I felt those kits to be cheaper or on par with the ones listed in diyaudiocart I guess I may be wrong too.

I picked up my enclosure from Pooja Electronics and found a very good board and remote which allows me to control volume, switch my amp on and off and tune 10 FM stations all for only Rs 100! The enclosure is Rs only 500.

Is this the Dexa cabinet? It has a stamped and shiny galvanized lower U section, along with a black powder-coated upper U section/lid. Everything is fine with that cabinet (as long as you're willing to drill additional holes for the trafo, PCBs, etc.) *except* the front bezel. That needs a more aesthetic option - either brushed aluminium or solid wood is feasible.

Can you post pics of the same board?

I have been myself looking for DIY amp kits and particularly based on LM3886. But I came across different versions of it. I am attaching pics and titles of these. Could the "Gurus" comment / suggest which one is best? I do understand that substitution of caps with audio grade ones may be required.

I have been checking out 2 and 5 for some time now. I rate No.2 primarily and No.5 secondly. I have no experience with these kits but I would like to try them just based on my intuition and the product's appearance.
