Hi Friends,
I have started a new Project. This will be a Pair of 2-way Bookshelf with Peerless Tymphany Drivers.
Woofer : 830990 (6.1/2" GFC Cone HDS Woofer)
Tweeter : BC25TG15-08 Silk Dome Tweeter 8 Ohms

The Internal Volume will be 28.3 Ltrs
The Enclosure will be tuned for 39hz. / 35hz @ -6dB / 32hz @ -9dB / 29hz @ -12dB
Vent Dimension : 50 mm ID x 142 mm Length

Fitting and flush mounting all the edges and corners is tricky.

How deep are those grooves ? Is the sheet bending after the grooves ??. Which material is it by the way ?? looking pink ;)

Those grooves are 12 mm deep total thickness is 18mm, The sheet will be bended after grooves, The material is MDF.

As usual great going on your new project,keep updating its progress,what every you do is neat and result oriented.

From where did you buy the drivers.

Can you explain or provide a link that explains how to read this and understand what it means?

Looks wonderful Sadik !!!
Drilling the holes, and making countersunk is a huge time killer. Working with only glue is a lot easy. Since you made the grooves, these side panels are easily bending. So your case is different.

But what I experienced is, if we don't use screws....we need to add as many clamps as possible to hold the pieces together. Even mdf, or plywood is not perfectly flat. It won't sit properly without a slightest gap unless we apply lot of force. Once the glue is set, I didn't feel we need any fasteners.

Any way....awesome work bro !!! Pretty exciting. To add the front baffle and the rear panel, you need to do good amount of grinding to get the edges flat I guess....
 
I thought of making a curved box, but I'm still a very beginner so I didn't attempt. :D:D

He does all his cuttings with cnc,so no issue of getting his edges flat..

Since the side panels are bending like a curve, the "rear edges of the side panels" will be inclined, instead of being parallel to the front baffle.

Either they have to be grinded, or the rear panel itself need to be chamfered at the same angle. Not sure which way Sadik chose to handle that.

Any way it's super exciting that one of our guys is building curved cabinets. All the best Sadik :D

One quick question - for the kerfing grooves, what filler material are you planning to use. I'm looking for ideas for the same.

Another question - for mdf kerfing, the equation says, 24 grooves for 90° bend. Here the bending angle is not that much. So, does it really make sense to make more than necessary grooves. Please keep in mind that I do have theoritical knowledge only. I have absolutely no practical knowledge on mdf kerfing so far. I need to know just for knowledge.

A mixture of wood dust and araldite or wood dust and Fevicol SH, whichever suits best. I have made a single enclosure along with the Final pair of this enclosures just for experimenting. I try first on the experimental enclosure then use the same technique / step on final enclosures

Thanks a lot. Will keep this in mind. Hopefully I'll start my tower build from mid November or early December. I might come up with lots of questions. Please help me out then.

Between any two grooves, there will be a flat face. So if the distance between grooves is larger, we will have larger flat surface. These flat surfaces may not hug the curved profile of the braces. So....closer the grooves, better the contact area. ..... Somewhere we have to strike a balance. My basic understanding...
