DIY SUPER TOWERs with Integrated Sub

Now all the drivers required for the project are ready
- 2 12" Passive radiators
- 1 12" Subwoofer
- 1 Tweeter
- 2 4" drivers of peerless

Is not this only enough for one channel?

I assume you have the software/hardware tools to measure the drivers.

Ooh sorry that is only for one tower.

I actually have:

2 tweeters
4 PR's
2 Subs
4 4" peerless drivers

Goldy from my city is helping me with the build, he has necessary tools to measure

Cabinets - Done (Including paiting)
Xovers - Done
Amplifiers - In progress - Eight audio is doing these for me.

1. 5 channel Amplifier
2. 2 channel Subwoofer amplifier.

How do you like your speakers? And the amplifier's as well from eightAudio?

Did you do the speaker enclosure's yourself or did you hire somebody?

I have started on a DIY project myself. I am trying to build the ZRT 2.5's using the Revelator driver's from ScanSpeak. I have the driver's and crossovers from Madisound, I need to build the enclosure's now.

Luckily i have a very good mentor for me in Hyderabad "Goldy" and also very good friend (owner of Eight Audio). Goldy helped me in calculating the size, gave me tips and was a kind of mentor from my scratch start.

Eight audio had good contacts in terms of carpentry and painting so once the size was finalized by Goldy; eight audio helped me to hire carpenter and painter.


BTW Amplifiers, crossovers building is done by Eight audio.

I am yet to get my subwoofer amplifier may be next week or by month end i will test the entire set up.

Yea, the size is not an issue for me. The designer posted some drawings for the cabinet. I might not have to bug Goldy yet.

Could you pass on the contact info for the carpenter and the painter?

Hello Raj,

The speakers are done..you can drop for audition any time on satday or sunday.

Carpenter you can get info from Eight Audio.

I am going to post the pics of the spakers this saturday..!

I like the sound very much .!! Thanks goldy and Eight Audio.

The amplifiers,xovers and MTM's and rear speakers are superb.

There is some issue with the sub's though, as the tuning is pending. So Goldy i need your help again may be next week or the other next week in tuning the subs.
