A power amp definitely makes a difference in your stereo setup . I was using a NAD integrated amp on my focal 906. Last week I added an O & B power amp to the setup . i felt more dynamics , 3d sound and also felt more deep bass . i would definitely suggest you to check on O&B amp they are worth every penny.

Which integrated amp from Nad did you pair with the O&B? And what model was O&B?

Does adding a power amp to the integrated amp mean the output to the speakers is equal to the sum of both the amps? Or the integrated amp’s power is ignored in that scenario?

Adding a power amp to an integrated amp means bypassing the internal amplification of the integrated and only using its preamp section.
