Some time you see "an error occurred while burning..." dvds
Those may be burnt with low speed in a next retry...

what i do :

use cd burner XP>datadisc

add the data

burn>'letme choose...'

speed=4x,simulate burn process

After burn process it will ask
do you need files tobe burnt to disk

select "no"
exit cdburner xp

see files are burnt nicely .Enjoy.:clapping:

For this trick to work select the disks that indicate burning fail at the beginning of the burning process.

Half burnt disks may not be suitable.

It works for me when when i see burning failed,in details there is " powerCalibrationError " with cheap dvds, some times even in Verbatrim, moser baers.
I am using VistaHP.

I have found that if burn fails,DVD can be written in Nero too ,but space blank shown on DVD is only upto OR less than 30%.

Hi,

Do these tricks work with Dual Layer DVDs?

8/10 times the burn process fails with me, when using DVD+R DL :(

regards,

Nitin.
