Will this solve HD Media player analogue out put problem.

That won't do any such thing ! Its just conversion of video to component (RGB) and stereo audio ! Although its supposed to convert Audio/Video Am not entirely sure of the Audio as the Audio in HDMI is mostly in digital format !

In any case even it does output the analog audio it will just be stereo audio that's all !

For 5.1 Analog audio from an old PC ??

this is not 5.1 audio..
but 3 video RGB line and a 2 ch RCA red and wgite...

I think you should check the first review on the page (By Raven A. Wind) to get complete clarity. The description was not fully clear to me especially to the point where they said it doesn't do any signal conversion. So I wondered how RCA outputs are possible at all? But seems there are non traditional devices that can provide such an output through HDMI. So this is definitely not a home media solution.

You need Audio DAC and Video processor. A wire can't do that. Stay away from such products.
