Emotiva Basx A5 Flashing lights & Standby

Dear Gurus
I had paired my set up as below
Yamaha A870-->Emotiva Basx A5 Power Amp-->Bowers 702 S2, HTM71 S2 & 603 S2
Yamaha A870--> Polk OWM3s ( Atmos)

Worked perfectly for almost 1 year but 2 days back , Emotiva started giving some static on the Front Left ( 702 S2) so I checked.
No shorting or loose wires in any of the speakers or connections. I switched Left & Right Cables, worked well for 1 day and it has now gone into Standby after flashing red lights.
2 questions
a. Would any one have experienced this ?
b. If i get it repaired, would it reoccur as I am a bit confused as the power handling is 100 Watts per Channel and I dont listen to very High Volumes. If it is a mismatch then what alternatives should i go for , entry level Power Amps

I removed al the connections and just directly connected to Power and it starts normally and in 2 mins goes flashing red and then stand by.
Please help.

Yes. But I am in Mumbai and I bought it in Dubai . The only service centre is in Delhi and i contacted them but they are not guaranteeing it will be done FOC and they want to inspect it. Too laborious currently. Looking at getting it serviced locally if possible.

For t cgannel under budfer maranz 7055 you can consider.

If it was a mismatch, you would have had the issue from day 1.
If this was an official purchase (Or even if its not) from Emotiva, call them on their US helpline. Their service standards are excellent.
Even if they can't support you in terms of repair, they can tell you what exactly to look for, when you hand the amplifier to a local technician.
If the issue is happening consistently after 2 minutes, state that in your communication

I have an Emotiva BaseX A5 too and I have already had the same issue. Static build in one of the five channel and then it went on protection. Sent it to Delhi and had it replaced with a new unit under warranty. Post another year or more, atleast it was just coming out of the 3year warranty, same issue popped up with a channel, spoke with the team and they asked me to ship it to Delhi to have this checked and to see what can be done, havnt shipped yet as it would cost me 3-4K again and also did not have a packaging to go with so waiting to send this back. One thing I can see is that there is a PWB peel off on the SMPS power supply board, can be the root of it all!!!
I have never ran this on a reference level just for the information. I havnt shipped the unit yet back to service as I replaced the amplifer with a Marantz 8077, but would want to get that serivced for future use for sure.
