I haven't used D2H so can't comment. However if QUALITY is your concern, for Discovery HD and Nat Geo HD, Dish HD was better both in terms of PQ and SQ (sound is stereo on Dish HD as against TS HD, however TS does DRC and PSEUDO 5.1 which Dish HD do not do any processing, hence you would get better sound effects without any shifting, muffled sounds). Several folks may disagree on my observation, however that is a clear verdict I got through side by side comparison in front of TS quality team.
However, DD5.1 Audio on 4 original Asli HD channels from Star is excellent (except for the common menace of Jitters, drops on all channels through TS). So that way TS HD is an overall better package particularly in the favor of Asli HD channels when Dish TV has none.
