for me Van is the Man.
but reviews like this (of Astral Weeks Live at the Hollywood Bowl) is so cruel.
"On disc, Astral Weeks Live at the Hollywood Bowl is a bland, bluesy celebration you can afford to miss. Oh, it still consists mostly of great songs-- the two "bonus" tracks slightly less so-- performed with skill, and recorded at fine quality, but it's hard to imagine why anyone other than souvenir-seekers or live-music absolutists would need to listen to this more than once as long as the original LP remains in print."

the site is hardly an audiophile site.
the fact that the validation of the analogue sound comes from a respectable music reviewing site (with no dogmatic or entrenched positions in the analogue verses digital debates) makes it all the more relevant.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
