I'm looking to connect two display's to one of my PC's and would like to have the second one as extended so that I can use it reviewing etc without constant switching. However the on board has just got one VGA port and looking around it seems we've got only VGA splitter which exactly mirrors the signals across two monitor's instead of extending it.

Anyone know of any solution, instead of adding another card inside the tower?

I m using 7300GC & working perfect with CRT monitor & LCDtv.
You can get 8400 for Rs.1800 (PCI-E).

I have heard abt only splitter which allows to connect 1 Display at atime with a switch.

Thanks Spiro, unfortunately it's a work PC and can't install a card inside. Will still keep looking
