First step towards home theatre

Hi All,

After lot of confusions, I've decided to go separate route. My budget for AVR is 25K and for speakers is 30K. My room size is 15x15. I'm getting AVR from my friend who is coming in next month.

Withing 25K I found following options on amazon.co.uk
1. Yamaha RX-V473 - 26,579 (298.98)

I'm planning to buy this in next week. I'm not interested in network feature rather will not use. My primary usage will be movie and then sometimes music.

I'm inclining towards Pioneer VSX827 at 20K so more budget for speakers.

All your suggestion are welcome.

Yes it includes, my friend is travelling in next month to India. About custom I think limit is 35K so I hope there won't be custom charges.

but how to check if it has includes all prices

If it is shippable to India, then it is inclusive of all duties and customs charge. Go ahead and place the order and you will receive it in flat 5 days.

If I'm using credit card, will it there extra 3.5% extra charge for international swap ?

I dont think the price is inclusive of taxes and duties. Better check with them before you place the order.

If it is EUR 325.95 then it is Costing Approx 29K.
For that i think you can buy in India itself for 33k Approx with Bill and warranty.

How does ur calculation goes to 29K, I checked online, conversion would go to 23,747. So any additional charges if bank charges, I would max 1K, I've used credit card only once and that time bank charged 3.5% service charged, is there any other charges ?

Yeah then it is worth getting but make sure it is 230 V and not 110 v (US)Version

Finally I ended with buying Denon 1713
