Floor standing speakers

Hello specialists,

I am planning to buy front floor standing speakers.
I am using Yamaha rx v677 series

Have took demo of tags harmony, Polk and Yamaha. Found taga is good value for money.
Have shortlisted taga azure f100 v.2 fs speakers, tav809 and tav 616.

Also have shorlisted mission mx5, pioneer fs52, and Boston a360, but haven't took demo.

Would like this forum to suggest the right speakers.

Have audition most of the speakers you have mentioned while audition for self. Out of all two speakers are strong contender and really need serious audition. These are Bostan Acoustic A360 and Mission MX5. Both are lot better than rest of the speakers mentioned above. I ended up with Bostan Acoustic A360. You will not regret with either of two but I like BA A360 due to Powerful bass and lively vocals at the cost of little secrifice the in micro details in upper frequencies. Mission MX5 have tight and agile Bass but vocals are not at par with that of BA A360. Again MX5 excel in high frequencies details ( better than BA but not the class leading ) . Build quality of Mission MX5 is very good and BA have average. Both are huge and requires good space to accommodate. Your AVR can easily drive the speakers. Audition and decide. Mission are little costlier than BA.

Recently Auditioned MX5 and bought them few days ago. They are great pair of speakers. Fall in love with those huge floorstanders once after auditioning them. Great Vocals with some tight bass. Worth the investment. Ty auditioning them and decide.

These are heavy floor standing speakers but the clarity and punch produced by them is awesome....

Got a chance to use them for a week with Marantz AVR and it was so good...didnt want to let go....if i had the space, definitely would be the ones...

Pulz Contralto

It is the built quality and design that matters in any speaker...not the watts or brand....

Polk RTi series is also good.

At the end of the day, it is your call to decide what suits your requirements, budget, speaker appearance etc.
