so what are the other floorstander options which can be considered as a cut above the monitor rs6?.

Dali Ikon 6 ..Mordaunt Short Mezzo 6

I'd add the Focal Chorus 726 series (826/836 a cut above) in the same price range as the Dali Ikon 7 and also the KEF Q500/700 and Triangle Antal-EX. THese speakers all sound very different so please listen before you buy preferably with your own music and electronics and in your own room (or atleast a room similar to yours).

BTW the RS6 has been discontinued and the RX6 is the new model..just in case you did not know.

I did a lot of research before buying the RS6....When partnered with equipment like Nad, Musical Fidelity, Arcam, Parasound, the RS6 sounded brilliant. So as someone else has rightly said, it is a matter of synergy.

Finally someone who treats the system as a sum of parts. Well done. Shanti/Bhagwan would be proud. :clapping:
