Front Speakers for Yamaha RX-V673

Hello Everyone,

I have procured a Yamaha RX-V673 thru my bro in Dubai. It would be reaching me in a couple of days. But my concern is the right speakers going with it...I already have a Elac centre & Surround and not planning to invest on them right now...may be later...
Currently...its the front speakers which i need to upgrade from Sony towers SS MF 650... to something really good
I have checked Wharfd & Polk...not able to decide!!@##$$$:sad:

My budget is between 20-30K for towers

Kindly suggest..it would be of great help

Very few options for towers between 20 - 30K...

Sonodyne Sonus 2605 (29K) and Tannoy Mercury V4 around 30K....

In fact, even I had the same feeling after I browsed through some of the interesting discussions on this website.
Now I'm planning to extend my budget to around 40k max.
Do you have some good options now

You can look at Wharfedale diamond series 9/10 series FS also Paradigm which i can think of..There are other brands too but i am unable to recollect the prices...

Plz wait for recommendations from other forum members....

Its around 38K...certainly around 10k lesser from Indian dealers.

Thanks, I auditioned Tannoy V4, it was brillant for the price. I'm checking Polk Tsi500 today and also Yamaha NS555.
Any idea on Yamaha speakers....I don't get to hear much about their speakers in the forum....

If you are not so keen on towers, check out the B&W, EPOS EPIC and Usher bookshelf speakers.

Check for Polk RTI-A5 which u will get at 41k..

I am also planning to take Yamaha-673 for my polk RTI-A5.

B&W will need more power to get best out of it.
