Gold and sliver in cables

There has been endless discussions on the benefits of gold and/or silver in cables. Many exotic types use these and cost a bomb. Teflon or other super plastics for insulation and complicated winding schemes to justify the very high costs.

Never tried silver alloyed with gold, but there is a very interesting material called vermeil. Somebody should try it for an inter connect
