Is this worth to get 105dbfs at 12hz in my room for pb 2000 pro. I changed position of my sub yesterday and curve got better but spl also increased from 90 to 105 at 12hz. Can we really hear 12hz ?

Should i just test sub in rew from 20hz or 16hz to not overload it

We cant hear 12 Hz ... actually, from about 30 Hz downwards, we begin to feel the bass increasingly and our hearing of low frequencies actually decreases.
The often quoted figure is 20 Hz for the lower frequency limit of human hearing. Even at 20 Hz, we probably Feel the bass more than we hear it ...
Extreme Low frequencies, in large amounts can cause Hearing Damage, Nausea, Stress, Annoyance & even Cardiovascular Effects!
There is some speculation that 7 to 8 Hz is particularly harmful, at high levels.
The fact that the level of 12 Hz in your room increased with simple relocation of the sub woofer, points to the new position creating a room resonance.
110 dB to 115 dB in your room, from 10 Hz to 100 Hz is highly undesirable... especially on a regular basis.

but relocation gave me very much better curve. Still have to think about 70 to 76hz dip of 10db though. But tell me one thing as i have moved subwoofer away from fronts why dirac bass control still kept distance 0 ms for sub and 3.60ms for speakers?

Quite mesmerized by sub relocation. Bass is more felt now its deep. And there is no distortion. Ran spectre opening scene at -15dbfs no issues

Check distortion levels . . The distortion will be surely audible..

PB2000 in simple words cannot produce the sound without distortion, check waterfall graph in REW. I don't want to discourage you, PB2000&3000 aren't very capable subs. If you really wants to experience SVS, that starts from PB4000.

No, all I wants to say is PB2000 cannot and will not produce sound below 20hz without distortion. Try to listen Dune part 2 sandworm seen, Johnwick 4 opening seen and Edge Of Tomorrow opening bass note at very high SPL just to say few (4K blurays) and you will understand what I am saying. Again I am not trying to discourage you, just trying to explain the limitations of PB2000. Just FYI 1080p Edge Of Tomorrow will fry PB2000 voice coil, with 4k the initial bass note was brought down from from 12hz to 15hz with low SPL.
TO understand what I am saying, my setup is in a relatively small dedicated room (12x16) with 7.2.4. LCR Paradigm founder 100f, 90c, subs are dual Rythmic FV15HP and the processor is Anthem AVM70

i ran spectre today fast x 4k opening scene i did not have distortion in these i guess these are not below 20hz. But i lower volume in godzilla monsterverse 5 film collection. !st movie of this collection i run at -33dbfs and is enough to fill my room. I dont run my sub at say -10db or -5db its not needed my room gets filled easily at lower volume as well. I may add one more svs later

None of them have below 20hz. Below 20 cannot be heard only be felt. Some people like the feeling and some don't. Myself like that feeling but my wife hates. Anyways, enjoy the sub. Just FYI, Interstellar wormhole seen goes down to 14hz and Dune 2 sandworm ride seen to 15hz

Exactly in same boat
not Pro but Dual PB2000 and FVX15... But i have rolled off with hipass filter at 20hz and for Johnwick4 intro i could hear fart at every slam

i never ran at -5dbfs. Maybe your room is bigger but for small room 13x10feet. i run avg around 18dbfsExactly in same boat

IMO If you are always listening at -15db i don't think you need to worry about the distortion.
