Hello,
I'm Mike and I'm from western Germany.
I've been crazy about music since I was a kid, and of course I'm always looking for the best possible sound quality—within my budget, of course.
Vintage hi-fi is a big priority for me. I like to combine it with modern upgrades so I can enjoy the latest technologies.
I'm excited to see how things go here at Hifivision.
Best regards,
Mike

Welcome to the forum! Glad to have you here.
Which part of Germany do you come from? You have some terrific gear from Germany.

.

What is your current system?
Well, I don t really have one current system.😇
I have lots of components, most are more than 20-50 years old. My favourite System - now in living room - is:
Dual CS731Q Record Player
Denon DL110 Moving Coil Pickup
Grundig XV5500 Pre
Grundig T5000 Tuner
Grundig CF5500 Tape
Grundig TS1000 Legendary Reel 2 reel Tape
Grundig Monolith 50 Active Speakers
Logitech Bluetooth Extension

What German brand according to you is really underrated?
Grundig, Saba, FineArts(by Grundig)

@Dynamike You have mentioned about vintage gear. I hear some good things about Siemens Klangfilm, Telefunken, SABA, Isophon when it comes to those speakers systems. Have you have experience in owning or trying them out?

Well, Siemens/Klangfilm were worldwide accepted Brands in Professional Sound Installation, like Cinema, Discotheques, Concert Halls...
Telefunken (AEG-Telefunken) built excellent and legendary reel to reel Tapes for Studio, Broadcast, cutting = professional use. I.e. Telefunken M15
Saba was a good brand for Home-Stereo until the 1990s, In the 1950s they developed legendary green cone Speakers. They sound nice, loud with a great efficiency (Vacuumtube Amps) and warm. Today very rare AND expensive, if you find one.
But these old brands are not so interesting, too big (large) and heavy for my use. I prefer Transistor instead of Vacuumtubes.
Greetings
Mike
