Hi AVS.. i am in the same situation. i have a PS51D550. Currently confused between a yamaha *71, onkyo 609/709 and denon.:sad:
fpr speakers i am planning to get the Klipsch RF 62 II, price quoted by cinebells is 68K.
P.S -> This is my first post guys.
If you have decided upon buying the Klipsch s ,,IMHO Onkyo should be the right AVR..

Hey Netant, Sorry about being blunt earlier ... My Bad. ....
However pull down the Asian mode 1912 and compare it to the Asian model 5006.
American models usually have different specifications . This has caused a fair bit of confusion in the past.

Hi netant, I've auditioned, the asian denon 1912 and marantz 5006.
The marantz is more dynamic and musical than the denon. actually you may be aware that both are made by the same parent company. However the 1912 is actually a trimmed down ver of marantz 5006. it may have a wifi builtin but sound and video processing wise the marantz still overtakes it.
I did the audition in singapore in a store, and they were played through Paradigm and klipsch reference 82 floorstanders one by one.

Even I did not like the Denon 1912, so I sold it off in 2 months and bought HK 460. Between, I don't think 1912 has wifi, it only has eather-net

Most horrible site. I have auditioned both 1912 and 5006 and feature comparison is all bogus on this site for both the models. Beware, God knows who maintain such fake site.

one of the bangalore source is ready for Rs.500/- less than our best price till now. they did not want to disclose the source name. so if bangalore guys are interested minimum is 3.

Its impossible to get such low prices for Onkyo in India....If anybody is looking for Onkyo AVRs..its better to take the amazon.de route... But hurry up.. just 8 more 609s left there... And we have also observed price raises after the JBL subs started flowing to India..
