Guys, there was too much panic yesterday (HD channels gone). Looking at this thread too tells me that we like to panic. I, too was without HD channels yesterday (I am a Mega Lite Pack subscriber). I did call up CC and they said that there was a technical glitch and channels should be restored in a couple of hours. That was around 2 PM. By 5 PM nothing had happened. When I reached home around 8, still nada. I tried calling CC again but could not get through. This morning all HD channels were restored.
I did see this thread but refrained from further rhetoric.
We should all learn to be calm first. Here is my though process (and this could apply to any DTH provider):
Symptom: Some or all channels lost. Called the CC. Problem resolved.
Our response: A :thumbsup: for provider and its CC.
Symptom: Some or all channels lost. Called the CC. Problem not resolved for quite some time. Repeat calls. Problem resolved after significant loss of time (and service).
Our response: Shake your fists and perhaps make your receding hairline recede futher (pull your hair). Report in forums.
Symptom: Some or all channels lost. Called the CC. CC says that package price revised and you got to pay more, etc.
Our response: All hands abandon ship! Repeat! All hands abandon ship!!



But the cost is revised and I have to pay a lot more to access the same number of hd channels
