Please suggest the best from the below::confused:

1) LG DN-192H

2) Philips DVP5965K

3) Philips DVP5986K

4) Samsung DVD-HD860

5) Samsung DVD-HD870

6) Denon DVD-1740

7) Yamaha DVD-S661

You have a full HD TV....so you might as well pick up a 1080p upscaling player....so leave out the Samsung 860 and 870.....they have a 1080 model....

Do consider the Sony NS708....i use it to feed my 42" HD Ready plasma (Samsung) and it's pretty competent.....and it comes with a free HDMI cable :)

The Denon and the Yamaha are in a different price range altogether. If you are spending that much money do consider the Cambridge Audio DVD89 (up to 1080i upscaling) and Cambridge Audio DVD99 (up to 1080p upscaling + USB) for 10k and 14k respectively.

Well u can look at phillips dvp 5996 k, samsung 1080pk, pioneer dv 610

all the above models have Usb port, hdmi port and play divx files :)

An update on my earlier post. While the Sony NS708 is a good player for the price, and does colours well, i've noticed a bit of image noise....which I suspect would be unavoidable at this price. You've invested a lot of money in a really nice big TV.....invest a bit more and go for the Denon, or else you can consider the CA DVD99 (1080p upscaling and USB)...i've seen it for 14k....i am slightly regretting feeding my lovely screen with a consumer-level DVD player.....so i'm just giving you a heads-up in this regard....
