I have been a lurker for some time.
From Bangalore, dont have much history in Audio/Video other than know what I like when I hear it.
Never been an Audiophile, Not sure if I ever become one.
Have been building my music system over a period time, slowly, and enjoying the journey. used to build simple amps when I was in school/college. just picking up after many years.
my current audio setup:
Source: Mac book pro, with SSD
DAC: Schiit Modi 2 Uber
Amp: Chinese Tube Amp (Decent enough for now) also has head phone out. Tubes changed to NOS tubes by a friend. says 6 watts
Speakers: DIY 15" Bass-Scoop Rear Horn with Le cleach wood horns on top. (Le cleach: courtesy Lyrita Audio) Eminence Drivers for Bass and Compression. This is still being worked on. the cosmetics/cloth mesh etc is not yet complete.
Ear Phones: Etymotic Research HF2.
Future: will have a better Amplifier, Tube.
