Hi guys,
Am setting up an audio setup and i'm getting a good deal on the Yamaha rx v1900 for about 65k (atleast i think i am...i mean the avr retails for about 85k...i know it was launched few years back but i don't really have any problem with an older model. It has all the frills that i need i really don't want more.
And the speakers i want to pair it with are a wharfedale dimond 9.5 not the 9.6 (can't afford them).
Any comments suggestions would be totally welcome...please help!
thanks.

Jamiem,

Are you looking to buy this AVR just because you are getting a deal or if you really need it? If I combine the AVR + speaker budget you have in here, it is close to 90k or more. I would say utilize that budget better and spend decently on a nice pair of speakers.

I would recommend taking a look at the group buys on the Marantz AVRs on this forum and then combine it with a budget speaker of ~50k sorts.

My 2 cents.

cheers

Thanks for the responses guys. The reviews seem really good but there's way too much good stuff out there...guess I'll do a bit more research before I fork out the moolah
