You are right, I have already asked the epson guys to arrange demo at my place. So far have asked them for 6100 demo but now I will include 8100 as well. Better to do comparison and then take a plunge. 40k will push my purchase by a month or two!

Well so far I havent purchased it...but I will buy sometime in a month or two.
I am still contemplating buying it from US, epson8350 comes @ 1000 USD which seems a good deal to me.
Still searching for something that supports 3D as I recently got Panny 220 from US last month.
