Help Needed : tatasky to marantz 1504 to Tv

I connected tatasky HD to AVR using hdmi and AVR to TV using another HDMI Cable. Selected STB as input. but there is no audio or video output.
I tried setup assistance but that also does not give output on CBT/STB setup.

What is wrong I am doing. Kindly help.

Are you sure the tata sky went into the port labeled hdmi in and you connected hdmi from avr hdmi out to tv hdmi in? Also select the proper input in avr like hdmi 1 if stb hdmi is connected to hdmi1 and so on...

Also you should select right input in TV also..

I reversed the cable and it worked.Thanks
