Hi guys

I am new to this group. I hav been going through previous threads and I realised I joined pretty late.
I hav only minimum knowledge abt speakers and avr. I am currently using Denon Avr x1000 and Polk bookshelf speakers. I want to upgrade. My room size is L-16 ft & B-12 ft. I recently auditioned some tower speakers in pro FX store. I shortlisted 3 speakers - Polk tsx440, Rti A5, Kef c7. Kef c7 seemed to be better in clarity but Polk has better bass. I am looking for a 2.0 setup for now. Later on I will upgrade to 5.1. Do I need to change my Avr to x2000 ? Will x1000 drive rti A5 ?? I want to get my foundation right for the best movie and music experience. My max budjet is 55k for 2 towers. Kef c7 or Polk rti a5/ tsx440. Wat shud I choose ?

I would really appreciate for your help.

I think you can go for an audition for Dali Zensor 5 / Zensor 7 and see whether its suits for your ears

How about Kef Q500 ?? Is Dali way better than Q500 ? Right now my priority is music. Considering my room space which one would be ideal without changing my Avr ? If I do change to Denon x 2000 which one would be an ideal choice ?

Its specific to each individual. Go for an audition for both and choose whats best for your ears.

Dali audition is available on DNI Bellandur, near central mall. They have focal as well.

Some will say Denon is good for moves and Marantz is good for Music. I think with a matching speaker whatever the AVR performs well for your purpose - go for it

I'm using Denon 1612 and Polk and will be upgrading to Marantz and Dali (Hopefully) - But that doesn't mean its the right combination.

Its just the right combination for my ears !

Apologize to join in on the Dali drumbeating :) but since you said music was a priority, I have to second Arjun and ask that you listen to the Dali Zensor 5s. The MRP is 55k and you can expect around 10% discount. Extremely musical speakers, very sweet sounding and certainly better for music than Polks. KEFs , I think the Dalis beat them in detail and a certain sparkle in the music which KEF lacks

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
