I second Rangeetrain's view. A true on-line double conversion UPS is what you need. Not all UPS companies make this. I have found one company in Bangalore that makes this (I also got an Isolation transformer built into it), but I am sure there are others. If you are going to buy just a power conditioner and going to spend a lot of money its probably not worth it.

BTW, realactivex, is what you have a double-conversion UPS? if so, 38K from APC is not bad at all, which model is it?

Generally if done right, this will be a very nice upgrade to your system
