hi to every one

Hi Himanita, welcome to the forum.I'm sure you'll have an interesting time over here.
Re your question, are you interested inmusic/movies/both?Since you're a student, I dare say music is what you want at the moment. If yes, then Onkyo's receiver may not be the best answer. But if movies are your interest first & foremost ,could you plz first go thru the threads relating to HT?
I'm sure you'll find a lot of info there already on tap.
Then if you have any further qns, I'm sure our "Gurus" will be only too happy to lend a helping hand.
Cheers.

Hi,
Thanks for your intro. As Kamal has suggested kindly specify whether you need the Amplifier to replace your AVR or for separate stereo setup.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
