please help me among following options. After reading so many reviews, I think Yamaha AVR are good for value for money/features. I am looking for following packages as options:

Yamaha RX-V675 w/ Tannoy HTS-101 (5.1)
Yamaha RX-V675 w/ Wharfedale DX1
Yamaha RX-V675 w/ Boston Acoustics SoundWare XS 5.1

Please guide me if they look good or which one will be best. I am trying to get demo for these combinations but still to find an appropriate store in Pune (or if not possible then will travel to Mumbai).

Also please suggest store where I may get best deal/price for them. Thanks!

I know I should get demo first and decide. but please help me. My relatives are coming down from Europe visit and I can have them get me a system. I will be trying few demos this weekend. Any comments will really help. Also sugest any other AVR with most options.

Other Info:
=> budget around 50 to 60K. may stretch a bit. (Europe / UK has better price). Have been checking Amazon.co.uk and other stores.
=> My room size is 20'x12', got 47" LG 3D TV LM7600, Tata Sky, Wii Console, LG Blue Ray Player
=> TV is wall mounted in middle of 20' wall, seating is right opposite.
=> Looking for 5.1 system, Having Wifi capability would add great deal as all my devices are connected.

What is your approx budget for AVR?

why stick to yamaha only?try denon, harman kardon also.you will get details from what hifi itself

not opting out denon but took demo of harman kardon. dint suit to my ears much. Denon seemed better. Yamaha seems to have more options connections and features at lesser price and good sound. going out today for demos and comparing them if I get to in Pune.

planning to go to AV excellence

nothing specific. Total budget 60k can stretch a bit. my sister coming from paris coming week. thinking to get one system with her. seems I shud get better price there than India

When you are on a tight budget, spend more on AVR & Less on speakers.. this way you get a good AVR & you can add components when your budget allows..

I would suggest Denon X3000 for 400 Pounds in Amazon.UK (or) Yamaha RX V 775 for 370 pounds / Yamaha RX V 675 for 300 Pounds / Marantz SR 6007 for 400 pounds / Onkyo 626 for 250 Pounds...

Boston Acoustics, Wharfedale & Tannoy are all good speakers for music.... Plz take a demo once & check which of the 3 you like...

I have bought a Denon Home Theatre package a month ago i must say it is performing very well. I love my Home theatre and sit back and watch a movie almost every alternate day. I also bought a Oppo 103D with it which is also performing very well :D

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
