How to connect PS3 and Tata Sky HD to A/V receiver via HDMI only?

Add a Region A Blu Ray player to that list too.

Guys, I am planning to buy Yamaha V667 (it has 1 HDMI OUT and 6 HDMI IN)but am a little confused about the connections.

I want the sound out for all 3 via the receiver and video out to a Plasma TV and connections (audio/video) via HDMI only to reduce cabling.

Can the following be done and work?

1. PS3 to HDMI in of V667; then HDMI out of V667 to TV
2. Tata Sky HD to HDMI in of V667
3. Blu Ray player to HDMI in of V667

Since the receiver has only 1 HDMI out, will it only out ONE of these?

Please keep in mind, I am a noob

The Yamaha receiver will be able to output the video signals of ALL your connected devices. Do not worry. The connections you have mentioned are correct. All the devices to be connected to the receiver via HDMI, and a single HDMI cable to be connected from thhe HDMI OUT jack of the receiver to your Plasma TV.

you can keep several devices permanently connected to different input ports and the output connected to Tv, then select the input you want to watch using the input selector buttons on remote.
