I watched most of the videos. Nice beginner's approach, specially if you're using branded foreign drivers whose SPL curves and T/S parameters can be trusted. This approach will deliver a crossover so much more balanced than what I see in some builds here, where drivers are put together on an enclosure using stock crossovers and no measurements.

The approach here designs the crossover, then designs and builds the box. I always design and build the box first, then mount the drivers on the box, take measurements and then design the crossover. Phase coherence between drivers is ignored completely in the videos. Their approach does not seem to take the baffle shape and size into account either.

Also, it was amusing to see the author cutting sharp cone-breakup peaks of his woofer by just 20-25 dB. Good for beginners, I guess.

Their approach will give decent results if you stick to very well behaved drivers of imported brands which have reliable published data and very benign SPL curves. The Dayton RS-P paper cone range or other good poly-cone woofers come to mind.
