Hows onkyo av receiver bundled with their HT packager 9300?

I liked that its 7.1 and has THX certification.

Can anyone throw more light on the same? what would be the price of only receiver? Any other receiver which is as good/better?

I am actually planning to buy a HT system (7.1 Receiver & 5.1 Speakers).

Kindly suggest me some good receivers to choose from.

Obviously 608,if u want go for 808 ,in current onkyo market 608 is the best vfm available.
