Did you try the shipping costs of Rythmik's DIY kits? The DIY kit is the driver and amp. Without the cabinet, the weight will reduce a lot and so will be the shipping cost. Then get it built in India the way you want.

not too confident of doing this myself. As getting the woodwork and stuff and get a good finishing for a first timer...welll

Well, not to devalue your woodwork skills , but I did not mean you to build it yourself. Our country is blessed with skilled carpenters and they do beautiful job at making custom furniture. You can get a good carpenter build the cabinet and that will be a piece of cake for him. Then just leave it to your imagination on what you want as finish.

Not sure about the Rytrhmiks but for the Hsu subs you need to specify the voltage setting required while ordering.
