On my journey to setup a HT decided on sound part and about t decide on screen part and got this offer from VU Vu 55" 3D SMART LED (55XT780) at Rs.110L incl tax.
Earlier decided on Grandview 92" motorised screen wihwith Benqe 1070+ and this offer came. Wanted to go for big screen as am setting up the HT in my living room and pricing of all big LED with 3D was in 2L plus.
But now  what to do between this 2.As always liked the pj with screen but feels ease of use for my kido and wify with LED.

Can my fellow experienced member guide me with right cchoice between LED or PJ screen .again not sure about perperformance and quality of VU brand.

If you can control the light (keep the room dark while watching)and want a Theater experience- go with a Projector and Screen setup

If there is light coming into the room- then go with a TV

Hi, any particular reason for choosing that brand---Vu? When you can get branded ones for almost the same price like panasonic, samsung , sony....
If you need a screen size more than 50/55 inches and all things considered like room size, viewing distance, light control, and most important thing budget. also you lose about 15% viewing pleasure compared to a plasma tv. For daily viewing always a tv is a best option.

Thanks chief my living room size is 15x21 feet and for that had to go for bigger sscreen size currently using 4 7 inch samsung smart in my current home .And all bigger brand above 55" with smart and 3D features are In above 2 lakh .VU is the only option with smart features fits in this category.
But anyway now decided to go with Benq 1070 with 106" screen. Thanks.

blindly go for a pj...
even a 70 inch led is no match of a huge 100 inch theater experience..
and a 70 inch lcd costs a fortune
and bigger tv are really gross, huge peice of electronic, heavvvvy panel etc etc..

projection rocks

PJ all the way, if your primary use is movies. Only thing is you may think about light control if you want to watch a lot during day times. Otherwise nothing beats a big screen experience. For smart features, just try using a low cost HTPC. There's nothing as smart as a PC. For me, all these smart features are just marketing gimmick :)

Purchase the Audiolab 6000A Integrated Amplifier at a special offer price.
