Hunt for Energy Classic 5.1

Hi Guys,

After going through lots of threads in hifivision and other sites, I've zeroed down on Energy classic 5.1.

Problem is with the availablity. These are not available in Reliance digital Delhi stores.:sad:

• please help me to find one, other city as well if shipping is feasible.
• Alternate HT package in the 25K range.

I'll connect then with yamaha rx371. Usage gonna be 50% music and 50% movie/tv.

Take a look at the movie series from Canton (Movie 125 MX - Movie Series - CANTON pure Music (en)). There are four models available and they sound quite decent.

(would cost around 31k through amazon and 35k through shopyourworld).

Not worth for 35k price , You could get Paradigm ct 90 for 35 or 36k price .

hi..i picked up a engergy take classis from reliance digital (Ambience Mall,Gurgaon ) 2 weeks back for 24.5k for a friend on mine ...they had 4 pieces in stock. You can check with them.

just called Reliance Digital.. The guy who picked the phone said they dont have it.
I'll visit them tomorrow morning.. Just that driving from Noida to GGN is a pain

They told me the same thing but when i went there they still had 4 pieces . You can directly speak to the HT dept or contact suraj +91 9911137471 , he will let you know the exact quantity in their warehouse.

I'll visit them on saturday and see if it is in buyable condition.

So ready to buy even a defective piece? I own ET classics from over an year...they are excellent package beats some systems that costs 3 times of the price.but buying defective in electronics is not advisable . Once we started for repairing, in most cases it would be a never ending...Just my 2 cents.

If I am not wrong System from USA would require step down transformer for woofer.


Otherwise I have Boston acoustic XS in mind. I can get audition in chandni chowk.

Had a word with Pranab as well and they would soon be listing BA a2310. Lets see on what price that comes up.

Yes for subwoofer, but check if it has support for 110V-230V.

BA is a good choice.

Visited Reliance digital GGn today...
They had only one demo piece. with centre speaker not working :sad:

Anyhow connected this to yamaha AVR. Listened to Kandisa and Ravan songs.
somehow it felt a little bright to my ear.. i listened at only 2 ft distance though..

Reliance guys are talking to their vendor if they can get a fresh box for me...

this wait is killing me
