PS3 is region free for games only for Bluray's it is region coded. May be you have the UK or Europe version. Another friend bought from the same nuance store in airport, his was europe.

So, I can play all games irrespective of region (on the discs)? I have played games and movies bought in India, so technically, it should be a region C player, right?

Most of the Indian blu-rays are region free. I am yet to see a Region C locked Indian blu-ray.
