Images in in-line attachment ?

are the images attached with a post are meant to be that small only ? and no function to see a larger version ?

373px 280px is max i guess, calling them images is an insult, it should be called thumbnail.
is it like that or im missing something ?

Yes, it is way too small to make out any details.
It is better to post an external link rather than attaching the image.
But would love to have a bigger version within the forum.
