Has anyone here insured their AV equipment? Most of us scrape together the finances for AV related purchases and it'll be nothing short of a catastrophe if something was to happen to them.

If anyone has purchased insurance, please share details for the benefit of others.

Cheers!

OK, I'm guessing that no one has opted for any insurance for their home setups. Can the dealer members (Venkat, Sridhar etc) please shed light, if possible, on how you guys deal with insurance for your showrooms?

Cheers!

I think you need to take general home insurance. contact your nearest general insurance company for info. You could do a google search also.

i took for allmost 5 lakh worth stuff( stuff in my sig and other misc items as per the insurance guys requirement) cost me around 4k per year. Forgot which company. I had asked my dad to take care of this
away from home/country now so cant check the details. i think many insurance cos has got these schemes for home owners. if i remember correctly , it protects agains all mechanical and electrical breakdown including lightning, but the repair bill should be more than 2500rs

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
