Hi guys

Planning to get my hands on a new Onkyo HTiB, if only I can sell my existing 5.1 setup - Philips LX600. Its quite a unique model from Philips with a separate unit for audio receiver not the mass market versions with integrated dvd player. It features Class D digital amp, with 100w rms per channel, accepts coax and optical and supports DTS and Dolby... Has a 6" driver producing excellent bass for its size and the high frequencies too are great. Does not get distorted even at 100% of volume. I still love this product but wish to upgrade shortly. Bought it for Rs.13,000 in 2005-06, dont remember exactly when. Perfect working condition and very well maintained for its age. Let me know what could be the ideal selling price range between ____ and ____.

Guys I need a suggestion

I also have Millenium BS lying with me without a partner to drive them (I had a pre-ownded NAD which went catapult recently).

With Movies: Music is 50:50 for me, I have following options in mind:

1. Buy a Norge amp and pair it with the BS. Keep the existing HT for movies. Damage ~ 10k
2. Buy Onkyo S3300/3400 and use the BS as front speakers. Damage ~ 22 to 25k

Most likely I may go for (2) as I get
-HD audio
-Better movie performance
-Amplifier to make use of BS

I have a few queries about the setup:
-Will the BS give a better SQ compared to stock speakers of Onkyo?
-Is it possible to play both A+B speakers or only one at a time?
-Does the AVR have subwoofer preout (for future upgradation)?
