Earlier this week a friend and I drove up to the Flextronics office in Electronics City with regard to a warranty claim on a defective 2TB drive that I had brought from the US for him.Upon checking on the net we found that the warranty was valid till 2014, and with an RMA one could opt for a courier picking it up from his house or go to their office.We chose the latter option, to ensure that glitches were minimal.
The trip resulted in an outcome that beat all expectations-the customer rep informed us that they did not have 2TB replacement drives in stock, so would we accept a new 3TB one instead?
Way to go WD, and needless to add, you have made a customer for life!
