I did test it and have been listening since the last 2 weeks... At first impression, it sounds very smooth with more prominent bass and makes you feel it cleans the sound... However I felt that the smooth sound could be due to the highs being toned down which Sandeep disagrees with obviously... I do feel it makes the sound more musical and engaging but I think I miss the sparkle of the high frequency.. The company argument is that I have been used to listening with the noise in the power line which accentuates the highs and they could be right as it could be simply a matter of the ears being used to a type of sound.. I still have to make a decision as I am confused... But I would encourage everyone to try it if they get a chance... Since Invention Audio is based out of Hyderabad, I hope more people can try it and maybe share their feedback as well.. For me I am confused as the sound is smoother, less fatiguing but tones down the highs a bit...
.I do need help...
Hi panditji... good day
I did hear the invention audio power conditioner in my freinds place. And Iam very familiar with his system, as I frequent his place to listen to music. I didnt post my listening impressions in this thread So far, as I didn't want to induce any placebo before your actual listening test.
So here goes mine, I was pleasantly surprised by IA's power conditioner. It made the sound smoother with a darker back ground. I also felt the darker back ground and the added silence, also flushed out the details a bit more. I also felt there was some added definition in the bass. Though I must admit that I don't have great ears, so couldn't hear any treble roll off even if it was there.
But usually RFI noise either in power or signal cables usually adds a harshness to the treble, this is only applicable to the higher treble frequencies, so it makes a system sound brighter. Elimination of the same, makes the biggest difference in treble smoothness.
So all in all, I was pleased with it. And I did compare same with my isotek evo 3 Polaris, and the difference was indistinguishable to my ears . So the IA probably does what it is designed to do.
P.S : Disclaimer - please note that Iam not in any way connected to IA or any of its members. The above is my honest impression. And it's just a coincidence that I belong to hyderabd too, so get to hear loads of stuff in fellow hobbyists rooms. Thanks
