IOmega Media Player PLAYS SLOW - TAKES MORE TIME THAN DURATION OF THE CLIP

Hi,

I have a "IOmega ScreenPlay HD Pro" Media Player connected to Onkyo 606.
But the problem is it's "TAKES MORE TIME THAN DURATION OF THE CLIP".

It displays the duration of an mp3 song and also there is timer to display the elapsed time. When I measure the total elapsed time using 'Stop Watch',I found that iomega timer runs slow by almost 10 seconds per minute. So, the songs which should have been completed in 6 mins actually takes almost 7 mins.

Does anybody share the same experience?
Am I missing something?

Well many are using WD,Xstreamer & they are very fast.
Try upgrading firmware which may help.

Sorry for not visiting this thread for long ...
I tried and tested with ogg and mp3.
There was not perceivable change in time/tempo.

But yes I didn't measure that with stop watch though
