Hi George,

I'd like there to be a hands on practical demo of how to understand/read a crossover circuit diagram and then make a practical layout with caps resistors etc on a board. I think Antony did one board layout but not from reading the diagram and from there showing how to connect wires to parts etc. Doing a few diagrams to board layouts would be very helpful.

OK so now that we can see some expressions of interest, can I request one of the younger members( prefereably an anthusiastic young cutlet) to volunteer as coordinator? Raghu of Anutone is our usual host, all we need to do is to firm up the date(s), and then the agenda.

Now that Santhosh and I are back after the meet in Madras, the takeways for us are to do a couple of them here, with substantial audition time, one with Prashant of Genelec, and another with Baiju of Analogue. Both of them said they are willing to work with us, all we need to do is to plan the date/time and the format. We should have one sometime in the second half of April, I think, and another one after that, date tbd. Since no enthusiastic youngster ( I withdraw any reference to cutlet), is coming forward, let me renew the call..Any thoughts , anyone?

Initial spade work is to confirm with Raghu that Anutone will make their regular place available for us, and then decide on the date in the second half of April for the first event. Once we have those in place we can decide on the content, duration, format etc. In case anyone has any thoughts please chip in.
